- The Senior Quality Controller performs final check and evaluation on the translations handed over, research and establish internal translation/quality control standards and processes. - Deal with and control linguistic issues, controversies with clients, etc. - Perform research on linguistics (both Vietnamese and English), Translation Industry Standards, etc., to establish or improve internal standards on translation process, and quality control process. - Provide linguistic advisory to clients, translators, quality controllers, especially in case of a controversies. - Build up Vocabulary Database, and Terminology Database, and manage the Reference Resource of the Department. - Identify, supervise and record the irregularities in translation quality. - Translate special English documents into Vietnamese and vice versa, and/or edit English – Vietnamese translation as required. - Support Translators/Editors during project process on an as-needed basis. - Together with the Project Management Department to ensure that all linguistic instructions and requirements in the projects are met. - Master all specialized and linguistic matters, processes, CAT tools and project processing techniques. - Perform other special tasks as assigned by managers.

* Required skills and capabilities: - Linguistic and translation expertise. - Editing and proofreading skills, and quality assurance skills. * Required education and qualification: - Qualification: Bachelor`s in English Language, Master`s in Theoretical Linguistics is an advantage. - Experience: 3 years in equivalent position. * Other characteristics: carefulness, meticulousness, high concentration and good memory, emotional stability, and moderate sensitivity in working relationships. - Good command of more than 2 foreign languages and/or DTP tools is an advantage.
