* 2021 - Now: Techtronics Industry Vietnam - Material manager.

- Responsible for material planning, supplier capacity control, logistical flow of materials necessary to meet production schedules, and achieve the inventory control target.

- Responsible for the procurement of materials that is on time to customer and production requirements, ensuring input material meets the quality standards and resolving gaps in a timely manner. For the identification, selection, and management of suppliers to minimize total cost of ownership and minimize supply chain risks for the company and its customers.

- Monitor daily delivery schedule for suppliers to arrange shipments on time. Make sure no material shortage or delay for production planning, to ensure uninterrupted supply of goods to customers.

- Proactive risk identification in the supply chain and establishing mitigation strategies to minimize delivery, cost and inventory risks to the company and its customers. Inventory risks include but are not limited to excess inventory, material liability, delivery risk and obsolescence.

- Negotiating with suppliers to achieve the net working capital targets established by the company.

- Accurate identification, communication, and mitigation of delivery risks in the supply chain with sufficient time and clarity for resolution before impacting the customer requirements.

- Negotiation of competitive material pricing for all commodities to ensure new business will meet desired targets both in acquisition of new business and execution.

- Manage the supplier rating system including feedback and corrective actions.

- Support all departments with supply chain and material management expertise as required.

- Communication of all commercial requirements to suppliers, including but not limited to price, quality, delivery, revision/ specification of products.

* 2019 - 2021: Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam - Spare part manager.

- Fully responsible for demand planning, procurement & logistic operation to Mitsubishi’s authorized distributors to better meet customer’s demands to maintain and improve the customer satisfaction.

- Demand forecasting.

- Analyze the sales history, upcoming market trends and sales plan to prepare the demand forecast.

- Review sales figures, costs and stock monthly to ensure budget benchmarks are met.

- Order handling.

- Manage customer service team to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of order handling process in accordance to SOP.

- Define and arrange dealer area responsibilities among team members to ensure all order being placed are properly process on a timely manner in accordance to the order cut off-time to achieve customer satisfaction.

- Analyze the complaints to lay out the action plan to avoid the interruption of the related process.

- Support to implement DMS integration for EDI (electronic data interface) with distributors and 3PL partners to increase operation process efficiency.

- Parts procurement.

- Control the order planning on a weekly basis to deliver the stock replenishment order to overseas vendors in Thailand, Indonesia and Japan.

- Cooperate and support service and marketing for the customer care & promotional sales campaign for proper preparation.

- Review the backorder status and take action on overdue backorder to ensure order completion.

- Logistic management.

- Responsible for the smoothness of the logistic operation from receiving till shipment delivery.

- Coordinate with the logistic partner for custom clearance to avoid the demurrage fee, ensuring shipment will be arrived on time.

- Manage the transportation vendor to ensure on time and smooth deliveries to distributors.

- Control claims to vendors/from distributors for incorrect, malfunction, short or wrong shipped.

- Inventory control & warehouse management.

- Weekly review the stock movement based on sales history and monitor the stock level to determine appropriate inventory levels while ensuring parts turnover.

- Manage the dead-stocks for scrapping to reduce the storage cost.

- Define the SOP & SLA with 3PL for the efficient processes of inbound & outbound.

- Monitor 3PL inventory cycle count reports to reconcile the stock discrepancy.

- Monthly inventory consolidation and report to Finance.

* 2018 - 2019: Buhler Asia Vietnam Co.,Ltd - Sales manager.

- Study the market and competitors to develop and make the sales strategy for the Buhler’s single machines, grinder, dispersion, color sorter, dryer, chiller, storage silo, whitener & polisher, etc... from the entry level.

- Develop and set up the sales channels, including Distributor, Agent or Finder in each province to increase the market share across Viet Nam.

- Plan and implement the sustainable growth strategy for Buhler in Viet Nam.

- Frequently visit to the customers, both potential and existing, to keep good relationship.

- Support to travel with technical experts from other BUs to meet the customers to interpret their inquiry.

- Present the technical flow-sheet or diagram demonstration to see how it would meet the customer’s inquiry.

- Coordinate with Sales Support, and Engineering team to issue technical flow sheet and quotation.

- Schedule customer’s meeting for sales negotiation and closing sales by Buhler’s sales policy.

- Analyze sales cost and profit to ensure DP1 is achieved and maintained.

- Manage and update CRM accordingly by Buhler’s regulation.

- Conduct telesales to identify and generate new sales leads.

- Attend the trade fair, exhibition and host customer’s event or seminar.

- Issue sales forecast to the factory for master production planning integration.

- Work with the technology, R&D to issue TA sheet, given on the customer’s inquiry, for accurate machine configuration.

- Coordinate with logistic team to ensure machines will be released for delivery by planned schedule to the customer.

- Develop the competitive CS Solution from the initial concept to the business model, ensuring that customer will get high satisfactory solution.

- Plan the unique and clear differentiator from main competitors.

- Create new service solution with the support from other BU specialist.

- Manage, lead and launch new product into market successfully.

- Collect, analyze and provide the feedback of future requirements of market to relevant business unit in support of the regional strategy.

- Execute the risk management proactively.

* 2014 - 2017: Yanmar Agricultural Machinery Vietnam Company - Parts supply manager.

- Manage the spare-part sales and supply operation to the authorized Dealers nationwide in order to achieve the sales budget and gain high C.S.I (Customer Satisfaction Index).

- Creates annual parts department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives and effective inventory management.

- Establish long & short-term sales and profit objectives for both the department and sales personnel.

- Manage departmental expenses to maximize profitability and review expenses regularly to ensure resources are being used effectively and efficiently.

- Develop and expand the sales channel of genuine parts through local parts shop and repair workshop.

- Work with JX Nippon to launch new lubricant package design for sales to meet the customer and market demand.

- Develop and execute the marketing plan to authorized Dealers or Distributors for genuine parts & lubricants for Yanmar branding to promote the customer’s awareness about the difference between Yanmar’s genuine parts & imitation in term of quality.

- Plan the promotional sales campaign to dealers to increase the genuine parts & lubricants sales volume during sales season months.

- Carry out the consignment sales to dealers and distributors.

- Manage the sales forecast, order categories and payment from dealers and distributor.

- Frequently visit dealers, distributors to collect sales forecast, grasp market situation and competitor’s information to update and deliver a more effective sales strategy.

- Cooperate and support dealers’ service personnel to hold a customer event or seminar on genuine parts and lubricants.

- Launch the maintenance filter kit to promote the sales of individual maintenance items.

- Periodically train dealers’ staff on YDS and electronic parts catalog application.

- Control the handling of parts claim processing and solve customer’s complaints.

- Manage the master price list calculation and update into RPMS system and finance system.

- Check and manage technical change or new update as interchangeable, alternative or discontinued parts on EPC to issue parts bulletin to dealers on time.

- Advise the recommended stock list to Dealers for their planning order through monitoring their stock level on YDS.

- Manage and control the parts inventory level to achieve the optimal order fill rate (95%) against the budget.

- Optimize the safety stock control to fully meet the sales demand and reduce the stock value of the slow-moving or unnecessary items.

- Align the sales forecast with the master order list on RPMS to release replenishment order to overseas suppliers on the regular order schedule.

- Planning and forecast by providing estimation on sales turnover of spare parts, cost of goods sold.

- Communicate with YMR in Japan and other regional sales companies overseas like YNC, YSP, YADIN, YASC to ensure shipments are delivered on schedule.

- Manage the custom clearance with 3PL to ensure shipment is received on schedule.

- Manage the shipment delivery schedule to dealers.

- Oversee the local procurement of some consumable parts like bearing, belts to save order cost, delivery time to improve price affordability.

- Check and evaluate vendor’s performance on inventory, supply and delivery capability.

- Issue the process & procedure to manage 3PL warehouse operation effectively to prevent the over, under-delivery, missing or mis-delivery.

- Conducts a perpetual/annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.

- Review and optimize the logistic operation fee of 3PL for cost saving.

- Control the inventory accuracy on RPMS and its visibility with Finance Dept and 3PL.

* 2013 - 2014: Kubota Vietnam Co,.Ltd - My Phuoc Industrial Park, Binh Duong - Spare part manager.

- Parts supply:

+ To maintain the supply of KVC’s genuine spare-parts to meet the growing demands from authorized dealers for the after-sale service activities including maintenance, repair, ensuring that any KVC’s customer who buys our machines will be fully supplied with genuine parts for the after-sale service enhancing Kubota image here in Viet Nam.

- Parts order:

+ Parts purchasing: Place the parts order to the major oversea vendors like KBT, KAMS, SKC and the others according to the order schedule in a timely manner.

+ Order prioritization: Prioritize the order types such as MO, PO, EO., given on the demand urgency for stock, replenishment, sales or warranty to reduce to down-time of the machines.,etc...

+ Lead-time follow-up: Maintain the good communication with oversea vendors to follow up the lead-time on a regular basic.

- Inventory control:

+ Accurate forecasting: Regularly analyze, forecast the parts consumption to prevent the severe shortage of critical items before the main harvesting crops throughout the year.

+ Keep proper stock: Maintain the optimal level of parts for fast-moving, consumable and general items in stock.

+ Improve and increase the C.S.I (Customer Satisfaction Index).

+ Optimize the stock: Minimize the slow-moving, dead-stock items to reduce the inventory amount and the storage cost.

+ Maximize the storage space: Review the stock list and propose the obsolescence for scrapping to B.O.D.

- Warehouse management:

+ Warehouse standardization: Set up the standard spare-part warehouse according to Kubota’s requirements.

+ Operation guideline outline: Define, lay out, follow up and enforce the S.O.P, guidelines for the warehouse operation such as parts input/ output, parts storage, parts inspection.

* 2011 - 2013: General Motors Vietnam - HCM - Spare part manager.

- Proactively engaged in spare-part logistic operation to achieve the high service level by maintaining readiness of spare- parts in line with the Service Demand.

- Manage & monitor the WH operation.

- Allocate & process dealers’ part-order to increase JIT rate.

- Follow up & manage part claims from dealers.

- Prioritize and Initiate part order to replenish the stock level, assure the service operation at HCM AS Center is not disrupted due to lack of parts.

- Dealer part sale & inventory control.

- Maintain the balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department.

- Establishes the individual parts inventory level and balances them for maximum turnover.

- Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.

- Ensures that all returned and warranty parts are properly tagged and recorded so that the dealerships recover full credit from the factory.

- Analyses sales, expense, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.

- Ensures that all dealership purchases are accounted for before payment is made.

- Enforce and monitor guideline for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

- Seek out new vendors, suppliers, and manufactures and negotiate terms and pricing for greater profitability.

* 2005 - 2011: Viet Nam Star Automobile Co, Mercedes-Benz Dealer - Spare parts inventory controller.

- In charge of all part-department activities, including hiring, training, and supervising allthe employees in counter operations, parts receiving/ stocking, picking-up, loading and delivery.

- Train all personnel in parts processing claims - shortage or overage, damaged, false, wrong quantity, and back orders.

- Schedule, allocate the tasks to all the members in the team, follow up and step in when needed, ensuring the tasks will be executed and finished successfully.

- Develop, enforce, and monitor the guidelines for the staffs to assure high customer satisfaction and service level.

- Perform inventory control analysis for the store’s automotive parts.

- Keep the stock control system updated and accurate.

- Run the ABC parts-analysis and statistic on a weekly or monthly basic.

- Monitor, track the inbound parts shipments in accordance to lead-time.

- Prioritize the order between emergency and stock, given on the trends and customers’ needs.

- Maintain accurate level of spare-parts in ERP, ensuring enough supply of correct parts required.

- Highlight the excess stock for move-out plans.

- Actively communicate with other functional areas to ensure that the service operation is not disrupted due to lack of spare-parts.

- Analysis of parts issues negatively affecting the SOP and deliver the solutions for continuous improvements.

- Ensure that all the inbound/outbound parts-loads from the distributors are accurately and properly recorded.
