Solution architects

- EVIZI is looking for motivated, hard-working, talented lead Android, iOS and Web developers to join our high-performance teams engaged in architecting, developing and delivering Android, iOS and Web based clients. The roles would entail being a technical lead for our respective client teams with a focus on client-server interaction, application layer and user experience.  You will be the technical liaison for the local team to the core engineering team located in Silicon Valley, CA.

- As Solution Architect you will lead the development effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience.

* Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and directions to engineers that are responsible for developing scalable and robust products and services in web, mobile apps, and prototypes or proof of concepts.

- Work cross-functionally with teams including core Engineering, Product and Program Management, QA, Sustaining Engineering, Operations, and vendors to drive forward new product features or improving on existing features.

- Act as senior technical authority and as a subject matter expert in mentoring fellow engineers, employing technical expertise in driving decision and leading team solving challenging programming and technology design problems.

- Enforcing iterative design approach while providing expert knowledge on design and build of products & services thereby ensuring seamless integration to a larger application and system architecture.

- Driving and influencing cross-functional technology solutions with architects across local and global solution teams as well as work closely with these architects & leads in architecting High Level Designs (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD).

- Assist the Program/Project and Development Managers with scoping project integration and deployment work.

- Provide direction and responsibility on architecture and design options, operational concepts, and application acceptance test plan.

- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on customer engagements.

- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business and technical solutions.

- Sets and manages client expectations while continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

- Must have: at least 7 years of hands on experience developing applications on mobile and/or Web platforms.

- Must have: at least 5 years working with remote, English speaking teams.

- Must have: at least 2 years of hands on experience developing applications on Android and iOS based mobile devices.

- Must have: Sound understanding of test driven development and continuous integration.

- Must have: Experience applying design patterns.

- Good product life cycle experience and SCRUM principles.

- Understanding of how to develop a product for mass consumer use.

- A passion for technology and quality.

- Can do/can ship attitude.

* Ideal personal qualifications:

- Must have: Fluent in the English Language, especially with regard to reading, writing and understanding technical specs.

- Must have: A passion for mobile technology, in particular Android development.
