Educational Consultant

- We are seeking a dynamic and talented staff member to attract potential students and assist in providing information needed to understand our University. This is a high profile and unique opportunity to engage, influence and enthuse interested individuals which encourages enrolment in one of our available programs. - Provide accurate and comprehensive information to customers about the ERC, its programs and services in a professional, timely, ethical, friendly and caring manner at all times. - Administer all processes concerning student recruitment and application handling for entry into ERC International: Consultation with prospective students; quality checking of applications; preparation of relevant correspondence; and managing client information relevant; follow-up after promotional events and campaigns. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ERC programs and related information available to prospective students and/or their parents via the ERC website, program guides and other communications and/or publications and staff briefing sessions. - Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when entering enquiry and application data into the relevant database systems. - Provide organizational support for Marketing and Educational Consultation activities and promotional events that showcase ERC, its programs and strengthen the ERC brand. - Assist in developing relationships with key stakeholders or service providers relevant to maintaining strong recruitment channels e.g. key high schools locally and provincially. - Maintain equitable and fair behaviour to all applicants, irrespective of social, cultural, or education background at all times. - Perform receptionist duties, including welcoming guests and answering initial inquiries and make sure that the reception and the telephone are well attended, when required.

- To be considered to this role, you must demonstrate. - Substantial experience in a customer service environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience in using database systems, plus a comprehensive understanding of University programs and selection processes. - Preferably previous working experience in an education institution in the position of sales/marketing executives.
