- Operate, monitor and take responsibility for the electricity production process through coordination with the OM team, AM team, technical department, and other departments to ensure the system operates most effectively.
- Develop operation plan, operating cost plan, procurement plan for spare materials and equipment.
- Monitor the implementation of O&M targets (such as performance - PR, minimizing production disruption - Availability, safety, cost savings, etc.); Coordinate with O&M unit to monitor factory status and equipment status (Performance Monitoring); Forecast and propose maintenance plans, repair plans, renovation plans, O&M plans.
- Directly work and exchange content and requirements with agencies, companies under EVN, dispatchers, local government agencies, contractors, and suppliers.
- Consulting, reporting on production and business situation, issues related to factory maintenance and operation.

- Participate in planning for exploitation and effective use of data of monitoring and control systems, serving the operation of power plants, at the control center.
- Participate in the assessment of technology, techniques, progress, costs,... in order to optimize the selection of computer control systems at the station, at the power plant, at the control center.
- Coordinate with technical committee and PMU to establish technical requirements for monitoring and control systems for renewable energy power plant projects. In order to ensure safe operation of equipment and save costs for the company.

- Monitor and operate the scada systems for Ho Chi Minh City Load Dispatch Center (such SCADA system from Survalent Tech and from GE- ALSTOM).
- Use software applications (such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, WorldView, FG Display Builder, etc.) to draft and design the electric power grid for power distribution network of Ho Chi Minh City.
- Configure and operate power-system protection devices for 15kV/22kV distribution network (such as RMU, Recloser, Protective Relay, Circuit Breaker, etc.).
